Senior FP&A Analyst

Our client is a fast-growing, global leader within the online e-commerce arena. Encompassing multiple brands operating from over 20 physical locations and a strong presence in over 40 countries - the group presents a significant challenge and opportunity for anyone who them.  

Currently, we are seeking an FP&A Manager to focus on a broad range of financial reporting and analyst activities.

You should have a degree in Finance or Accounting coupled with a professional qualification or certification. You will be able to demonstrate  an in-depth knowledge of forecasting models and high levels of analytical and will be required to explore, assess, model and analyse organic and inorganic investments and assist in driving insights across the business.

Ultimately, you will ensure the financial analysis is relevant, insightful and forward-looking, aligning with the highest priority business objectives, and having specific focus on guidance to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

    • Ability to influence financial and strategic decision-making across the Global platform of over 20 countries 
    • Build strong relationships with local business unit CFOs and provide thought leadership and content-rich reporting to the regional Finance teams
    • Deliver multi-jurisdiction budgeting & forecasting plans
    • Knowledge-sharing across Regional and Country teams to improve the consistency of work and roll out best practices.
    • Improving the Performance Reporting for the Group Finance team.
    • Work as a major stake-holder through the implementation of a new finance platform - from an advisory and requirement perspective, not technical embedding.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an FP&A, Senior Financial Manager or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
  • Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
  • Familiarity with finance databases
  • Experience of working with financial planning tools (Cognos, HFM, Anaplan, Tagetik)
  • Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP)
  • Up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts (expert proficiency with Powerpoint is essential)
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
  • Relevant post-graduate certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
