Do you have an analytical skill set and want to apply it to a growing Quantitative function?

A top tier Bank based in the city is looking to grow its technically minded quantitative team and they are currently searching for a Quantitative Associate, preferably with a PHD and a strong background in R and mathematics.

The role is to join a small and focused technically minded quantitative team, and have ambitious growth plans in the next coming months to develop their Quantitative function. The chosen candidate primary focus is to design and build algorithms for the detection of regulatory breaches and regulatory risk. Another element of the role secondary is be required to deliver outputs in relation to regulatory risks as defined

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build algorithms for the detection of regulatory breaches and regulatory risk.
  • Provide Hands-on problem solving
  • Focus on data extraction and applying machine learning to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Analyse raw and messy data
  • Visualise results and generate actionable insights
  • Present the results of your analyses and make recommendations

Position Requirements

  • Education Level: Degree in a Scientific/numerical discipline (Masters or PHD is preferred)
  • Experience Level:  Data cleansing experience as well as analysing and visualising data in R or Python.
  • Analyse raw and messy data
  • Visualise results and generate actionable insights
  • Present the results of your analyses and make recommendations
