Job Specification

My client is a unique, specialist Cyber Security provider that delivers a full breadth of Cyber Security operations training. They require a Cyber Security Consultant & Trainer with a strong background in Data Protection and GDPR in order to provide advice on security solutions for a range of their clients.

Key areas:

  • Appropriately train, research, grow and lead in penetration testing engagements.
  • Design, build and deliver the organisations cyber training courses of an offensive nature, such as QSTM.
  • Engage within digital forensics, malware analysis, incident handling and SOC/protective network monitoring operations.
  • Design, implement, review and manage innovative solutions for Clients.
  • Work with sales, marketing and other Group staff to improve knowledge of cyber security.
  • Support new or existing staff in improving their desired skill sets, perform on the job mentoring as per customer requirements.
  • Virtualisation related qualification or experience.
  • Fully participate in learning and testing to ensure they can remain current and then innovative in technical solutions.

Desirables:

  • Experience of working in other cyber security companies
  • Exposure to or a background in software development in Python, Perl, PHP, C#, C, C++, Node or similar languages.
  • Familiarity or experience of developing in cloud architecture such as AWS, Azure or similar.
  • Experience of conducting forensic data acquisition and analysis.
  • Knowledge of how to perform a code review.
  • Have an ability to instruct, mentor or deliver technical training.
  • Be able to work effectively in a geographically and environmentally fluid structure.
